Back in the 1980’s (what a decade?!), Labour Hire Australia was born; with a founding premise of supporting both employers and employees to get the job done and keep it simple. There was a focus on building relationships with local, family-owned businesses, just like us.

Over the years the Australian employment environment changed, and as all business owners know, we had to change with it. Our expertise in employing staff for others, through labour hire, resulted in us developing simple Human Resources and Safety solutions for employers across the country, as Haycroft Workplace Solutions.

In 2012, there was a changing of the guard, with our original founder stepping down, making way for a team of passionate workplace change experts, to build what we now know and love, as Workplace Central.

The change of name was symbolic of a new way of considering workplaces- they’re central to us all; for our livelihoods, for creative expression; to learn and grow; and to be part of something bigger than ourselves. We believe that growing our business in a dynamic, regional city like the Sunshine Coast has allowed us to bring a fresh perspective to employment that the ‘suits in the city’, don’t get to enjoy.

Workplace Central aims to deliver simple workplace solutions for employers and their employees across Australia, through workforce management, payroll, and integrated HR and safety packages.
