The Fair Work Commission is continuing its work on the 4-yearly reviews of the Modern Awards.
Another 12 Modern Awards have now been amended, with the changes to apply from the first full pay period on or after 13 April 2020.
Although the Modern Award updates in these cases are designed to clarify, not change the intent of the award, you’ll still need to review your relevant award and, if you’ll need to ensure a new copy of the award(s) is available for employees, through usual communication means, whether electronic or via noticeboards etc.
